Did your motorbike WOF expire during the COVID19 lockdown?

7/1/2020

The NZTA has introduced an extension for any WOFs that have expired after January 1st 2020. The full details of the new rules can be found here https://www.nzta.govt.nz/resources/rules/land-transport-rule-covid-19-response-no-1-2020/ . The extension is generous allowing WOFs to remain expired until October. However, if your WOF has expired and you are using your motorcycle you should ensure that the vehicle is fully road worthy and up to WOF standard. There is also likely to be high demand at testing stations as October draws nearer so it is best to get your WOF sorted now whilst it is still relatively quiet.
